This is an official campaign mounted by the US State department and its willing (paid) accomplices in Cuba.It is filled with lies, distortions, and spins of various kinds, but the esence is that this campaign virtually ignores, belitles or lies about the vast public library system that has been developed and is widely used in CUba, and projects as "libraries" small PRIVATE collections in the homes of men and women in the service of the United States government (and who often get their books from that government). The idea is to project the notion that there is no freedom of information in Cuba and therefore they have to open up these private libraries. Many of the books they claim to be "making available" are in fact not banned and widely read in Cuba.
